About Us

ABQ Children’s Academy is one of Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights’ newest child development centers. We are excited to offer a curriculum full of experiential learning activities that cater to all learning styles, encourage whole-child development and jumpstart your child’s love of school.

Early Childhood Curriculum

ABQ Children’s Academy strives to make sure our students have a positive first school experience. Our curriculum provides opportunities for your child to learn in ways that interest and come naturally to them while challenging them to increase their skills and confidence in all core developmental domains.

STEM

ABQ Children’s Academy is the only early childhood learning center with a classroom dedicated to science and math learning. Our STEM Room is full of toys, games and visual aids that encourage reasoning and problem-solving. Spanish

ABQ Children’s Academy offers Spanish language instruction tailored for toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergartners. Our Spanish teacher, Miss Lucy Lopez, uses songs, games and other activities and learning aids to help our students increase their Spanish vocabularies and language-learning abilities.

Extracurricular

ABQ Children’s Academy has partnered with community organizations to provide on-site extracurricular activities that develop gross and fine motor skills and social awareness. Your child has the opportunity to learn soccer fundamentals from Rio Rapids Soccer club coaches and explore music and rhythm through Kids Love to Dance.
